The National Lottery awards Woodhead and Windyhills Community Group a commemorative Blue Plaque to recognise how its £90,000 lottery grant has impacted on the Turriff community.

The Blue Plaque has been awarded as part of a nation-wide campaign to show exactly where National Lottery money has gone and how National Lottery players have made a difference to communities across the UK.

Woodhead and Windyhills community Group is one of 50 organisations to receive a Blue Plaque this month, bringing the total Blue Plaques presented to 5000.
